William HOLINSHEAD (1810 - 1885) [Codicil to Will dated 23rd August 1884] Copy - CODICIL - to the Will of William HOLINSHEAD Esqre. This is a Codicil to the last Will and Testament of me William HOLINSHEAD formerly of Norcott Hill in the Parish of Northchurch in the County of Hertford but now of Marlows Hemel Hempstead in the same County Farmer which Will bears date the twenty eighth day of September One thousand eight hundred and sixty five Whereas since the date and execution of my said Will I have become entitled to certain real estate and I am or may be or become entitled to certain personal estate as the heir or next of kin or otherwise of Sarah SWANNELL late wife of Owen SWANNELL of Mill End Rickmansworth in the County of Hertford deceased Now I do herby give devise and bequeath all such property and also all other my real estate (if any) unto the Trustees and Executors of my said Will to hold the same upon trust as soon as may be after my decease to sell the same and all other my real estate (if any) in such manner as to my said Executors and Trustees shall deem best and to stand possessed of the proceeds of all such property as I have already derived or may hereafter derive through the said Sarah Swannell As to one undivided fourth part thereof Upon trust for my Brother John HOLINSHEAD of Thralesend in the County of Hertford Esqre. his heirs and assigns absolutely And as to one other undivided fourth part of such last mentioned property Upon trust for my Brother in Law John Edmond BAILEY of Mill House near Bedmont in the County of Hertford Esquire. his heirs and assigns absolutely And as to the remaining two fourth parts thereof and the sale proceeds of all other my real estate (if any) Upon trust to pay the rents income and annual produce thereof or of the stocks funds and securities representing the same to my wife should she survive me for her own use and benefit during the term of her natural life or widowhood And from and after her decease or second marriage whichever shall first happen Upon trust to divide the same equally amongst all my children that is to say Jane PRUDAMES Wife of W.
