I am interested in information about the following families all of whom immigrated from Germany between 1840 and 1880. The family names are Katten, Heidenheim, Scharff, Desenberg, Dahlman,Newman, Nussbaum, Swarz,Rosenstein, Goldenberg, Feitel. Allof these families eventuatlly settled in the South, primarily Louisiana and Texas. The Desenbergs and Rosensteins settled in the midwest - Michigan and Ohio. |
