* The Snidow & Phlegar families of the New River Valley*

Updated May 2, 2007

UPDATED JUNE 2004

Here you will find information on the Snidow, Phlegar and related families of the New River Valley compiled from family books, manuscripts, and information from the Snidow Family Association.

Given the peculiar spellings of both surnames, it is likely that if one or both turn up in your research, you will find a connection to the individuals listed herein.

The Snidow Family Association has an annual reunion in Pembroke, Virginia every August. If you are interested in finding out more about the Association and the Snidow Newsletter, please write & I will provide the contact info.

I warmly encourage any additional information or corrections to this information.
