Notes for I
SAIAH GULLIVER:
The place of his birth may have changed to Proctor. He was buried at the Edgewood Cemetery near Montoursville.

The copy of Isaiah Gulliver's obituary that I have is a photo, and the bottom half is very hard to read.

Isaiah Gulliver, one of the most widely known and esteemed citizens of Lycoming county, passed away at his home in South Williamsport, on Monday, after a protracted illness. In his eighty-five year. His funeral took place at the house on Thursday morning, and was attended by many members of the bar and county officials. During the services the court house offices were closed. Mr. Gulliver left four sons and three daughters, also one sister, Mrs Sarah Kuhns, of McEwenville. For 33 years Mr. Gulliver had been crier of the Lycoming county courts; he was appointed by Judge John J. Metzger, and served continuously under his successors to the present. He and Elizabeth Foulkrod were united in marriage Dec. 24, 1858, and their wedlock of 61 years was broken March 9, 1920, when Mrs. Gulliver passed away. (At this point his obituary is hard to read, but I can make out most of the important information). He was a charter member of the Montoursville Masons, and a member of the St. John's Episcopal church south side.
