2. JACOB² KEEL (GEORGE¹) was born Bet. 1775 - 1794, and died Bet. March 02, 1849 - March 25, 1850 in Fleming County, KY. He married LANY BECKNER April 01, 1813 in Flemingsburg, KY, daughter of HENRY BECKNER and UNKNOWN. She was born Abt. 1791, and died Bef. 1850 in most likely Fleming Co., KY.

Notes for JACOB KEEL:
Jacob Keel and Henry Beckner signed a Marriage Bond of 50 pounds for the marriage of Jacob and Lany Beckner, Henry's daughter. The bond was dated March 29, 1813. Jacob's last name was Keel in the bond, but in his Will it's Keal. It looks like he signed the bond, but in the Will he made his mark (x).
In his Will he left his son-in-law, John Ishmeal, the house he was living in on the 25 acres of land that Jacob owned, plus half of the acreage. John was to pay Jacob's wife Lany rent if she out lived Jacob. It also states that after Lany's death the house that Lany and Jacob lived in was to be given to Mary his daughter with all of it's contents, and the remaining half of his 25 acres. It also states that at the time of Lany's death if the stock should have an increase, then they should be sold and that the proceeds from them are to be equally divided between John and Mary. To his grandsons Samuel, Leander, Cummins one each to be paid equally by John and Mary whenever called on until they become 21 years old. His Will was read by the court for Fleming County on the 25th of March 1850.
