WALTER C. KEAL Jr.

      North Webster - Walter C. Keal., 74, a 30-year resident of an island on Webster Lake, died Sept. 7, 2001, in Boca Raton, Fla.
      Walter was born in Petosky, Mich. He lived most of his life in the Cleveland, Ohio, area. After retiring from a successful career in the trucking industry he moved to North Webster.
      He then founded a home building firm named Affordable Homes. He took great pleasure in constructing quality homes for people. He enjoyed all the contractors who helped him.
      His greatest pleasure in life was aviation. He flew, owned and built airplanes all his life. He also loved the island he lived on with a tree growing through it.
      He is survived by his two sons, Curt and Keith, as well as five grandsons, Dorey (should be Corey), Jeff, Chris, Kevin and Garret. Walter is also survived by his brother, Tom, whom he flew to be with at the close of his life. He will be missed also by Mary Ellen. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Florence, and father, Curtis.
      All services are private, but your prayers are appreciated. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
      The family also asks that you tell someone loved, but far away, that you love them.
