The Thomas Kearney Family of Kilteely, Limerick, Ireland

Updated July 6, 2003

The Kearney Family History was compiled over a twelve-year period beginning in Ohio, through California and ending in Illinois. It started with my curiosity over my paternal grandparents and expanded from there. From Thomas Kearney and the next five generations. I hope you enjoy this book, some of which is tedious and cumbersome while other parts may prove to be interesting. I would like to thank the late Veronica Gruber, Dorothy Haas, Helen Kearney, the late Teresa Kearney, the late Michael Wittmuss, the Cook County Clerk’s Office, Department of Veteran Affairs, Lexington Genealogical Society, Limerick Regional Archives, McLean County Clerk’s Office, McLean County Historical Society, Newberry Library in Chicago, Peoria County Clerk’s Office, Riverside County Clerk’s Office, Tazewelll County Historical Society, Church of the Latter-Day-Saints Library, Woodford County Clerk’s Office and my parents for their assistance in this book’s development. I truly appreciate their help.

Lastly, I would like to thank Michael Anthony Kearney and Dick Jones for their inquiries on the "Ancestry.com - Message Boards" for our mutual connection to Thomas Kearney. Sheer luck!
