Ken Keaton's Family Research Project

I, along with several others, am researching the KEATON, MORIN, OUELLETTE and JANDREAU families in northern Maine, New Brunswick, Quebec and Nova Scotia.

We have some informtion dating back to the late 1500's in France. Some have gone even farther back. I have found links to some of the following family names: Berube, Pelletier, Gendreau, Thibodeau, Theriault, and many more.

The KEATON side has been elusive before 1850. Looking for all the help that I can get. I am looking for information on John Keaton. I believe that he landed in Canada in the early 1800's. I have the ships info and passenger list. We have records of his application for several land grants in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. I have been able to do quite a bit of research at the New Brunswick Provincial Archives in Fredericton. Still no info about where he was from or family information. Any help would be great. Send me a note, I might have some information that you are looking for too.
