261 Edgewater Street, Mahone Bay, N.S.
Based on information acquired through deed research and a physical inspection of the building, it is believed that the gabrel-roof dwelling (beside the mill site in Mahone Bay) was constructed in the late eighteenth century, perhaps as early as 1777, when the land on which it stands was purchased by brothers William and Alexander Jr. Kedy, Sawmillers and Carpenters.
