| My father's family originates from Galashiels in Scotland and we have traced back to 'James Keddie' believed to be from 8, Green Street, Galashiels, Scotland who was married to 'Helen Hutson' whom we know nothing about. They had two children, one was 'Andrew Keddie', the first of a long line of Andrew's. He was born in 1856 and married 'Margaret Cavers'. We would be grateful of any information concerning any of these people as it may confirm the information we have helping us in our reserch for more family members. My father is our last connection to Scotland but we have not lived there ourselves due to him being in the R.A.F until the 1970's. My mother's family oringinate from both Wales and England. Her father, a 'Thomas' has been traced back to 'David Thomas', born in 1783 in Neath where he was married to 'Jennet John' born in 1785. They had a son 'John Thomas' in 1808. Her Mother has been traced back to 'George Hall' from Gorsley,Linton,Herefordshire,England. He was born in Churcham,Gloucester,England and was married to 'Harriet Toomey' on the 9th November in 1828. Any information you have concerning either of these families would be greatly appreciated. |
