Several years ago I started the endeavor of putting together a Barnabas Phelps family history. It started with a few family photographs, family stories and interview of several family members. I was told that there were four brothers that came from Scotland to the United States. I have been able to locate three of the brothers. (They actually are from England, then Scotland and then to the United States.) Somewhere; the documentation of Barnabas' family (prior to Barnabus) has been lost.

I would like to dedicate this book to the many family members that helped me gather information and family photographs. However, most of all I would like to thank Elaine Senecal who gave me information that her mother Catherine Joy Phelps had collected.

Also, I would like to thank Bertha Belle Phelps Clarke, for helping me with some of the stories of her past and of Louis Darling Phelps.

I would greatly appreciate any corrections, current photographs, etc. that anyone is willing to share. I know that not everyone from the Barnabus Phelps family is included in "My Family Page", if anyone is looking for a particular individual please feel free to contact me as I have a large volume of information
