* Parkers, Stephensons,Dyers of TX,GA,TN,AL & Keens of TX,LA,*

Currently, I am researching my mother's family: Parker, Dyer,Stephenson, on her dad's side, & McDonald, Banks on her father's side. They were in the area of Tyler, TX and surrounding areas. Also settled in Shreveport, LA.
On my father's side of the family, I am researching his mother's people from Diboll Texas area; Tompkins, and his father's side, Keen in Mira, LA area as well as Texas.

William Normandy Stephenson, died in the Civil War, pow
Enlisted in Hope, Alabama, Lawrence County. 4th Calvary
His son, James Cunningham Stephenson, also in the War, same unit as his father. He survived the war and is buried in Corsicana, TX
near his son and next to his wife.

    This is my grandfather, son of Abraham Columbus Keen and Abigail Pearl Langston (Lankston). He was a sherrif in Oil City, LA and a Justice of the Peace there too till his retirement in the 70's. He died in Shreveport, LA in the mid 1980's

    This is my grandmother, Annie Jewel Tompkins. She was married to Forrest till their divorce in the late 40's. She never remarried. She was a wonderful cook and seamstress, chocolate pudding was one of my favorites!
