DISCLAIMER- What I have on the links below MAY or MAY NOT be totally accurate.
I too, have unfortunately gathered
some of my info from the internet.......WHEN you note something to be incorrect,
PLEASE email me and inform me of the CORRECT INFO. I will certainly ammend my WORK IN PROGRESS!

Grab a drink, sit a spell and roam around my roots!

***My computer crashed before Christmas 2005. I have lost some of my newer information. I will be updating my ENTIRE TREE this spring. IF you have sent me your information where you fit into the tree, please email me again and I WILL update it and get your connections on here as well.

One final thought, on the DUTTON side of my tree, we have run into a HUGE BRICK WALL with WILLIAM DUTTON & his wife, NANCY MADDOX.
ANYONE with information on these individuals are BEGGED to PLEASE come forth and help knock down this wall! Thanks in advance!

I am sharing WHAT I have found out in my spare time and am creating this page up for my immediate family and relatives [and anyone who is interested] to find out & explore our family roots. It is amazing sometimes WHAT we find out [good & bad]about our ancestors, but more important, that our HISTORY is so RICH. WHAT were our ancestors doing during the CIVIL WAR? It's in here! Do you know how GENERAL Tucumseh SHERMAN is related to us?

I especially want to thank one of my many cousins,
STEWART EWING , especially for all the hard work and countless hours that it entailed in researching and documenting our DUTTON heritage; [ ] and his father and all the others that have contributed to this chart of our Heritage! Be sure to visit STEWART's site as many of the anwers are there! He has so much more info and legends and stories of our Ewing line. Including how my 4th GGrandfather, Thomas Ewing, raised the same man that became General Sherman of the Civil War. What heritage is ours!

Another Cousin that is dear to me is Sandra. She keeps putting a spur beneath my saddle when the confusion gets too much to handle and I STOP working on research. She has been so diligent in her research, I do appreciate all of my cousins, but a special THANK YOU has to go out to Sandra! Along with Tonnie and John and now I have found a few more cousins just today, [with a little SPUR from Sandra!] that I will be interviewing shortly to preserve their knowledge before they are gone!

I will be adding pictures that, unfortunately, are nameless at this time......So sad to go thru a box full of old pictures with no way to know who they are. I could really KICK myself for NOT sitting down with my mom or dad while they were still with us, and wrote down WHO IS WHO!
Be sure to check back from time to time to see IF you recognize anyone out of the past. As I also do photo restoration, I will add the restored version at a later date. So many things to do and only 24 hours in one day!

I am doing this in my spare time. I am currently research and discovering more on the FAULKNER line, [my mother's side] and ANY help there, will be greatly appreciated! Please email me and I will get it added to this, Our Family Tree! It is yours too, so give me a shout!

Forgive me if any of this is mis-information and please let me know so that I can CORRECT my errors. [I may have a Typo or two also....]

So much history, so little time!

Let us begin the journey together.....
