The Keedy's came from Washington County, Maryland. My grandfather, John Ecker Keedy, moved to Kansas around the turn of the century, then to Louisiana, where my father, Ruffin Haas Keedy, was born. We all live in Texas, now. There are more Keedy's in San Antonio that are related; John Ecker Keedy's father, George Washington Keedy, had a brother, Thomas Jefferson Keedy, located on Disk 7, who started that branch. |
