The Kehlenbecks came from Germany to Liverpool in around 1870, there were 2 brothers HENRY AND JOHN KEHLENBECK Henrys wife CARRIE and there cousin AUGUST KEHLENBECK ( my great grandfather.August was born 1858 in Germany belived to be Hanover.August married in Liverpool in 1895,to MARY SMITH. My great grandfather was interned in the Isle of Man during the 1st World War while my Grandfather was fighting for the british.All the KEHLENBECKS where employed as cabinet makers in Liverpool although it is thought that John later emigrated to the U.S.A.Anyone who can help me put some meat to this story is asked to e-mail to the above e-mail.
