I am researching Peitro Mancuso (Manguso or Mangusa) from Palermo, Sicily Italy, who immigrated on a vessel called the "San Giorgno". The vessel left Palermo Italy around 5-30-1911 and arrived in NY around 6-14-1911. He arrived with his widowed mother (Rosalia Ferasci) and his siblings: Santo, Antonina (Nina) and Nancy (Nunziota or Nazia). Father=Ignacio MancusoHe married Maria Parascandola on 10-19-1919 in Brooklyn NY. Maria's parents were Antonio Parascandola and Marianna Orlando. Her Siblings were Raymon, Bertha, Frank, Josephine, Nicolo, Carmella and Vera. Peitro's date of birth 11-19 (18) 1893/ Maria's Date of birth 6-24 (25) 1899/Peitro's date of death 12-4-65/Maria's date of death 2-17-75/ They had 11 children together. I am also looking for information on Domenico Preziosi (Born 7-12-1887 in Avellino, Bagnoli, Irpino, Italy.) He married Caterina Meloro (Born 2-20-1894 Salerno, Sicignano, Degli, Albroni, Italy) on 7-10-27 in Manhattan NY. They had 3 children together. Domenico's siblings were Madeline, Theresa, Lawrence (Lorenzo), John and Joseph. I have no info on his father, but his mother was Lucille. Caterena's siblings were Lawrence and Maurice. Her mother's name was Antoinette Troisi. Madeline Preziosi married her sister in law's brother Maurice Meloro. I would appreciate any information you may have on these individuals and I would gladly share any information I have. |
