The Joseph Brennan and Clare Bamkin Home Page

We are researching the male and female lines of the BAMKIN and BRENNAN families.
I am interested in the names Bamkin Craythorne, Woolman, Franklin,Faughn, Vaughan,Ettery, Nelmes, Knelms, Hancock, Manger, Rolleston, Taberer, Taverner, Burns (Cumbria mainly), Brennan and Picton.

The main geographical areas of research so far include England, Ireland, Australia and America. Our immediate history is in Leicestershire, Lancashire and their neighbouring counties.

Some of our lines go back to about 1600. Others are more scant.
At present we have 2400 name in our file. In the coming months this will be submitted to Family Tree maker and shown on this site. However, we are currently cross checking data before making it universally available.
