He married (1) Anna Ottilia Blum on 18 Mar 1730/31 in Lichenburg, Rheinland, Germany, daughter of Wilhelm F Blinn Blum and Sara Thiest. He married (2) Philipina Stevens on Aft. 1760 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He married (3) Catherine Hummell Weiser on 12 Dec 1780 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Two sons of Lt. Col. Peter Hedrick moved to what is now Davidson County,
NC in about 1755. They were Peter and Adam. Peter Hedrick b: December 12, 1733, volunteered to the patriot army in the
Salisbury District Militia. He was commissioned a Lieutenant and rose to
the rank of Captain. There is a monument to his honor at his burial
place in the cemetery of Beck's United Church of Christ. It is nine feet
high and stands on a solid concrete base 4X5 feet. It is constructed of
beautiful native flint stone laid in concrete and was dedicated on the
occasion of the 200th anniversary of his birth. Peter Hedrick and his
family are believed to have been among the founders of Beck's Reformed
Church.
Johann Adam Hedrick b: October 12, 1741, d: March 16, 1815. Settled
in Davidson County, NC. Adam Hedrick is number 1 on the old baptismal
list of the Pilgrim United Church of Christ where his children are also
listed except for Eve. Adam Hedrick married Barbara Hege (Hageny/Hage)
daughter of John George Hege, Sr. (Hageny/Hage) and Anna Eva Frey (Fry)
who also moved from Pennsylvania to NC and settled in Rowan County. In
about 1767 Adam and Barbara purchased land adjacent to her brother George.
