Virginia E. Kent Wilson (daughter of James W. Wilson) was born December 09, 1876 in Southeast Adair County, and died February 17, 1957 in Kirksville, Missouri. She married Harry B. Lyons.
Notes for Virginia E. Kent Wilson: Virginia was the daughter of James and Mary Turner. She was born in Southeast Adair County September 9, 1876. In 1895 she married Harry B. Lyons and to this marriage two sons were born Sidney B. Lyons and Ray H. Lyons. She passed away at the home of her son Sidney at the age of 82 yrs. who resided Michigan St. in Kirksville, Missouri. I Pat Kelley was not able to attain very much data on her history, but I do remember her as I would visit my grandparents and I remember that I was scared of her. She was a very private person. She used to sit by the stove in the living room and smoke a pipe, and I seen her put her pipe which was lit in her pocket if anyone came to visit. When she was in her 70's she was running after one of her grandsons and fell and broke her hip, She used crutches the remainder of her life. She was also known as being a very hard person to get along with.
