John Kelly & Anne Doyle Kelly of Troy, NY

I am researching the Kelly family from Parish of Street, County Meath, Ireland. John Kelly first appears in 1856 baptism records. He was the son of Patrick Kelly and Bridgid Farrell.

The information I have on John's baptism is recorded in the records of the Parish of Street. We were told this is near the town of Mullingar in County Meath. However my research indicates that Mullingar is in West Meath. Possibly the Irish used Meath and West Meath interchangably???

Also in Catholic Church Dioceses' records I have been unable to locate a "Parish of Street".

John married Anne Doyle in Ireland and immigrated to the Troy, New York, USA area sometime in 1880's and became a naturalized US citizen in 1888.

Any information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have.
