I am back to circa 1625 in my Finnish ancestor research, about 1700 in Swedish research and app. 1820 in Irish research.

My Finnish ancestors originate (as far as I know) in Dragsfjard in Turku-Pori lanha (county); Swedish ancestors came from Falybygon in Vastra Gotland lan (county), while my Irish ancestors came from Meedin, a townland in County Westmeath.

I have concentrated exclusively on researching my Finnish ancestry lately because I have found, and am in email contact with, several living cousins in Finland.

I would like to find living cousins in Sweden and Ireland also. Genealogy is so much more enjoyable when you are corresponding with LIVING relatives.
