SMITH, CAROLINE AURELIO, 88 - of Mays Landing, passed away on June 26, 2006 at the Greenbriar Nursing Home in Hammonton. Born in Reading, PA on May 23, 1918, she was the oldest of 18 children. She moved to Mays Landing in 1930 where she married Harry Aurelio in 1938. They moved to West Palm Beach, FL in 1955 and resided there until her husband's passing in 1976 when she returned to Mays Landing. She was a member of the Lucky Twelve Bingo Club, the Mays Landing Fire Vol. Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary, the Poodlers, the Hamilton Twp. Senior Citizens, and the Italian American Ladies Auxiliary. In her leisure time she enjoyed spending time at the Hamilton Twp. Senior Citizens Center. She devoted her life to her Harry and her many friends and family. She is survived by her two children: Phyllis Lombardi (Frank) of Mays Landing and MaryLou Robinson (Jake) of Lady Lakes, FL; her grandchildren: Frank Lombardi, Jr. (Denise) of Smithville, Debra Tunney (Richard) of Mays Landing, Rocky Lombardi of Mays Landing, Julie Barrantine (Rex) of Panama City, FL, and Todd Martin (Holly) of West Palm Beach, FL; great-grandchildren: Cheryl Leeds, Frank Lombardi III, Brooke Barrantine, Bailee Barrantine, Amber Lombardi, and Gavin Martin; five sisters: Catherine Campanella (Leo) of Somerdale, JoAnn Holland (Melvin) of Baltimore, MD, Elizabeth Saluk of Baltimore, MD, Mary Yerger of Reading, PA, and Josephine Saul of Wernersville, PA; three brothers: Samuel Miccicke (Antoinette) and Joseph Miccicke, both of Mohnton, PA, Anthony Miccicke of Shillington; sisters-in-law Antoinette Aurelio and Betty Kwasnieski (Stanley) of Mays Landing; and brother-in-law Fred Aurelio of Oakland, CA. She will also be remembered by her best friend, Thelma Taylor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, 11 AM, at the St. Vincent de Paul Church, Rt. 50 & 2nd St., Mays Landing where a viewing will be held from 10 AM until the time of the Mass. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in Mays Landing. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Frank Grieco Social Services Center, 1309 Rt. 50, Mays Landing, NJ 08330.
