| Kelly I am looking for information going back to Ballina,County Mayo, Ireland on Thomas Jefferson Kelly who came from Ireland in the 1840's with his wife Alice Fleming and son Thomas. They became separated but were later united he worked in Honesdale PA on the gravity railroad. Ingoldsby Also looking for information on Loughlin J. Ingoldsby who was married to Mariane Coady and came from Ireland or England. in the 1840's (I have heard that his original name was Gilhouly but he was a police officer in England and changed it to have a more Anglo sound.) They settled in New Haven CT. Cass Also looking for information on the Cass family who came in the 1840's to Waterbury CT from Queen's County (Laois) Ireland. John Cass came with his wife Bridget Milton (Miltons came from Bohay in Lietrim near the border of Longford). Bridget's brother William Milton also came and went to the Civil War from Waterbury (William Milton owned a shoe business and real estate in Waterbury.) John Cass had a dairy farm on the property that is now Calvary cemetery in Waterbury. Bassett Also looking for the parents of Hezekiah Bassett who lived in or around Farmington CT. He died in 1899 I do not know where he was born. Barnes I know more about the Barnes family than the above Sarah Barnes was married to Hezekiah Bassett. Her relatives came from Cheshire CT. Samuel Barnes went from Cheshire to the Civil War and his father and grandfather Josiah Barnes II and Josiah Barnes went from Cheshire to the Revolutionary war. (On record with DAR). Josiah Barnes II was married to Olive Cornwall whose ancestors founded Middletown CT. |
