I am looking for information on Thomas Jefferson Childress, born 7-8-1826 or 28 in Alabama, died Pike, Tx 1900. Married Sarah Jane Anderson in Franklin, Co. Ark and lived there at least during the years 1865 - 1880 before moving to Tx. This man was my great grandfather and I am interested in finding out who his parents were. I am also seeking information on Frederic and Sarah Griner, both born in Pa around the year 1811, had a child named Matilda in 1830 in Pa and then moved to Jennings co. Ind and lived there until Frederic died in 1870. Matilda married a man named John Barnes in Jennings Co. Ind. and raised a family there including my maternal great grandfather, William Andrew Barnes. John Barnes died there in 1898. William moved to Franklin Co. Ark. and married my great-grandmother, Cordelia Mills there. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I am willing to share any information that I have with anyone interested. |
