I am research the John Wilson family of Fairfield CT. ca 1860. He and his wife Rachel McBeth were married at the Mariners Church in NYC in 1856 and had their first daughter Mary, baptized there also. Their daughter Sarah Jane was born in Fairfield in 1858 and then their twin sons John and Robert were born in Fairfield also. The three youngest children were baptized together at Black Rock Congregation Church on November 4, 1860. I am in the process of trying to find when the family returned to New York and in what year John Wilson Sr. died. I am under the impression that he died somewhere around the year 1865. I would also like to know where the family is buried. |
