The Kelly Family Of South Ms.

I started this project for my daughter in 1st grade. I thought the things they make us do in 1st grade. It started off to be a task. I filled in all the info I could remember. Then I talked to my husband and he filled me in on all he knew, that was pretty interesting, fun, and bonding. Then my father and I haven't talked in 7 years and only just begun a few months ago. So I e-mailed him and asked him for help on his side of the family and his wife's. We were on our way to getting to know each other and without this project I probably never would have thought to ask sbout how many brothers and sisters he had, which means now I know the answers to who my other Aunts and Uncles are. I feel that now I atually know some background on his parents and siblings, he actually feels like real family instead someone I just met. Amazing what a little 1st grade project can do !
