The KELMANS from SCOTLAND to CANADA

Finally, I have found the parents of JAMES ROBERTSON KELMAN. They were GEORGE KELMAN and his wife ANNIE ROBERTSON of New Pitsligo, Scotland.George and Annie settled in Tillsonburg, Ontario, Canada.

James Robertson Kelman was born in 1883 in Springford, Dereham,Oxford County,Ontario,Canada. At the time of his death he lived in Milton,Ontario,Canada : December 17th., 1925. He was married in Peterborough around 1907 to a young woman named MARY LASCELLE from Arnprior,Ontario,Canada. They had seven children. The family settled in the Milton area.

Another son, CHARLES NORBERT KELMAN married EVELYN EVERSFIELD. They lived in Rexdale,Onatrio,Canada.

At the time of George Kelman's death in 1902, two of their daughters were married. MRS. DENNIS FLANNIGAN, of London, Ontario and MRS. W.C. BURN of Tillsonburg,Ontario. Two other daughters, JEAN and JESSIE were still at home along with JAMES and CHARLES. JAMES was known by the nickname NIGG.

I would like to contact any living relatives from that area who are descendants of George Kelman and his wife Annie Robertson of Scotland...or descendants of GEORGE ROBERTSON and his wife ANN of London,Ontario.
