The Early Settlers or the Kentucky Area where true pioneers and brave peoples. I have become very proud of this heritage in my quest for the roots of our family. With so much information on other family members that has come my way and technology has advanced so much since I started trying to find my family's direct lines for the children and now great-grand-children, I have decided to expand all these lines as far as information allows.
Much of the sideline family information came to me from other sources and not always with documentation, so I am adding it with the advice that if you find your family use it as a guide but do not take it as gospel. Make sure you find your own documentation and proof for your lines. Some surnames here are extensive and others lack much information. If there is any help or corrections that can be done please let me know. I want this to be as accurate as genealogy can possibly be taking into consideration our human failings and faulty memories, not to forget typing and writing mistakes.
