| This page is in honor of my parents, Scotty and Karen Maddox, on their 50th wedding anniversary in October 2006. We will be having a family reunion/anniversary celebration in Kerrville, TX. On the beautiful Guadalupe River Saturday, October 21, 2006 Event will be held in the Recreation hall (air-conditioning/heating, tables, chairs, three restrooms, and a kitchen) 517.2-acre area along the Guadalupe River, five miles southeast of downtown Kerrville. Activities to be enjoyed include a large playground for the kids, games (horseshoes, washers, volleyball court, basketball court,) fishing, camping, picnicking, unsupervised swimming in the river, bird watching, hiking, walking, and cycling. The park can be reached by traveling 3 miles southeast of Kerrville on State Highway 16 to State Highway 173 for 3 miles. The park headquarters building is on the left. Researchers on the Maddox side have us related to Alexander Maddox in 1613. We have since found out this is mistaken and we will be updating the information soon. |
