Family Tree Maker's Genealogy Site: User Home Pages: Simon Family of Kansas


Several families of Lignieres, Neuchatel, Switzerland came to Kansas in the mid-1800s and established the town of Neuchatel, Kansas in Nemaha County. Those families are Simon, Junod, Bonjour, Descombes and several others. The descendents of Francis Lafayette Simon and Jennie Kandis Dinwiddie meet for a family reunion every June on the last Sunday at the Senior Center in Wamego, Kansas. All Simon relatives are welcome.
