* The Huczko-Sipka Polish Heritage*

Updated September 6, 2000

I have begun researching both sets of my grandparents who immigrated to this country from Poland around 1900-1904.
Julius Sipka (may also have been spelled Kszepka or Krzepka) arrived around 1900 possibly with a brother Frank. Julius married Anna Waszkiewicz in February 1901 in Three Rivers, Mass. and then moved to Conshohocken, Penna. Frank died in the New York City area probably around 1906-8. Anna had a brother Stanley who may have lived with them. Anna, Julius and Stanley eventually moved to Cleveland OH around 1910. They had 3-4 children at that time.

The other set of grandparents resided in Rome, NY. Mary Pich married Albert Huczko possibly in Sanok, Poland around 1900. Albert immigrated to this country in 1901. Mary arrived with 3 year old John Huczko around 1904.
