My grandfather, David Anthony Wooten, and his older brother, Charles Bartholomew Wooten, as altar boys at St. Peter's Orphanage in Memphis, Tennessee. Charles died at age 16. My grandfather was born in 1896, married in 1917, and died in 1965, all three in Memphis, Tennessee. Both are buried in Calvary Cemetery, David next to his wife, Minnie Duffer, and Charles in the St. Peter's plot.
