    This is a photograph of my greatgrandmother, Mary Julia Antony Wooten, at her First Communion in New Orleans about 1892. She was born in 1878 in New Orleans, and died on Christmas Day, 1901, in Memphis, Tennessee. This photo is courtesy of my cousins Carol Sofianopoulis and Greg Han, who found me via Family Tree Maker, and introduced me to many new branches of my family.

    My grandfather, David Anthony Wooten, and his older brother, Charles Bartholomew Wooten, as altar boys at St. Peter's Orphanage in Memphis, Tennessee. Charles died at age 16. My grandfather was born in 1896, married in 1917, and died in 1965, all three in Memphis, Tennessee. Both are buried in Calvary Cemetery, David next to his wife, Minnie Duffer, and Charles in the St. Peter's plot.

    My great-grandmother, Martha Louella "Ella" Donaldson. She was born in 1871 in Missouri, married James H. Duffer in Arkansas in 1896, and died in Memphis, Tennessee in 1945. She and my great-grandfather are buried in Forest Hills Cemetery in Memphis.

    My father, Col. James A. Lillard, USA, taken when he was a Lt. Col., in Vietnam. I believe the man he is speaking to is General Westmoreland. At this time, he was the Deputy Commander, 5th Special Forces. It was his second tour of duty. He was born in 1925, married in 1949, and died in 2000. He is buried in Arlington National Cemetery.

    This is my husband's grandfather, Frank Kennedy. He was born in Massachusetts in 1905, married Evelyn Sedlack in Illinois in 1932, and died in Illinois in 1963.
  • Evelyn Eileen Marie Sedlack (151 KB)
    My husband's grandmother, Evelyn Sedlack. She was born in Illinois in 1907, married Frank Kennedy in 1932, and died in 1984 in Illinois.
