| The Herlihy Family comes from Sweet Rockmills, County Cork, Ireland. Michael and Catherine (Kate) had 7 children: James & John b 1843, Michael b 1849, Thomas b 1852, William b 1856, Elizabeth b 1859. Michael and Thomas immigrated to the U.S. Thomas, my GGF, married Bridget Cussen. Their son, Michael, my GF, married Elizabeth Akins. They had 9 children: Thomas, Ethel, my mother, John, Francis, Michael, Charles, Catherine, William, Elizabeth. The Kenny Family comes from Kilkenny, Ireland. Michael and Alice Doran had 6 children: Michael (my GGF) b 1873, Laurence b 1875, Robert b 1877, Mary Ellen b 1879, Alice b 1886, and Anne b 1892. Michael, my GF, married Mary Gammell. They had 8 children: Lawrence b 1894, Catherine b 1895, Robert b 1899, Alice b 1900, Mary b 1902, James, my dad, b 1908, Cecelia b 1910, Anna b 1913. |
