| I have traced my famliy back a few years and need to find where William Kennish is buried at. He died in Flushing New York 1863. There are four of us working on it, any help would be great.William Kennish came from the Isle of Man and was a Naval Officer and Inventor a Poet an Explorer and an Engineer. He spent his last years exploring and finding a route for the Panama Canal with out the use of locks. Two of his descendants followed in his foot steps and worked on the base of the statue of Liberty in constructing and development of the plans for it to hold such weight. |
