* The Kennedy/Hogan/Bernard Family Home Page*

Updated September 13, 2003

There are three major branches of my family tree. The Bernard's can be traced back to Rene Bernard, born 1740 in Villebois France. Other family names in that tree include Guepet (Chalon-sur-Saone), Petit (St. Marcel), Rotival (Charolles), Bulle (St. Marcel), Moliere, Budon and Curran (Norwood, MA)

Pierre Francois Bernard was born December 27, 1831 in Saint
Marcel, France. He was married three times: 1) Anne Preux
(b. April 18, 1853 in Chalon-sur-Saone), one daughter, Marie
Louise who maried Gabriel Rotival; 2) Eugenie Virginie Moliere
(b. August 18, 1830), one son, Theophile Joseph Bernard who
was a Captain in the French military; 3) Honorine Budon (b. June
1840), two children, Anna (Nina)b. 1880 in St. Louis, MO. and
Henri Jean-Baptiste b. Autust 7, 1882 in New York City.

The second branch are the Kennedy's who can be traced back to
John Peter Kennedy and his siblings, who emigrated to New York
City from Manchester, England. The last branch are the Hogans
from Tipperary, Ireland. Roger Hogan's family originated in
Borrisokane. Other surnames in that branch include Dwyer and
Cummings. Roger emigrated to Staten Island, NY in 1849 and the
majority of his decendants remain on Staten Island today.

Any information would be appreciated and I would be happy to
share what I have.
