| Welcome to our family home page! Please understand that this is still a work in progress. We still have a good deal of information that we do not have entered in yet, more that we are still trying to confirm, and even more that we are still trying to find. We are researching quite a large list of surnames that just keeps growing!! The main surnames of the family are Kennedy, Brooks, Pearson, Westberry, Cagle, Smith, Wheeler, Poole (Pool), Posten and Bellamy. In trying to be respectful to those still living, we have left their information "private" for public view. We will strive to keep the information updated as often as possible and hope to get all of our source references that we have already found and confirmed entered in soon. Anyone who has information about individuals or families connected to this tree, please contact us. We hope everyone enjoys the information that we have been able to provide and look forward to family response and feedback and to hopefully making contact with close and distant relatives! I would like to extend a special thank you to Ruth Patrick, Carol Brooks, & Alean Peebles who have provided me with a great deal of information for the Brooks and Pearson branches. Ruth has done a great deal of research herself and she and Carol have been kind enough to provide me with copies of her work. I am working to add her information to our tree. Alean provided me with a large amount of information about several lines in her family that I did not have and I just want to thank them all for their help and give them credit for their work. I would also like to extend thanks to my cousin, Greg Smith, for being kind enough to provide me with a copy of all the work he has done on the Smith / Cagle / Wheeler / Posten branches. I have been able to confirm and build on his info and even (sorry Greg) dis-prove some items. I need to add a special thank you to Carly Adams and William C. Poole for their help they have offered me with the Poole branch. I am currently in contact with the two of them and look forward to continuing to work with them.
