Decendents of HART, MORRIS, MOOJEN, PONDER Home Page

My sister and I have been doing research on our family for 20 years. We have come to a dead end on the ancestors of "Thomas Kitts Jefferson Morris". What is known is Thomas's Fathers name as "Hiram Morris" was born September 13, 1807. He married Elizabeth Hart Powers who was born on April 28, 1806. Both Hiram and Elizabeth were born in Philadelphia, PA To the best of our knowledge Thomas and his brothers were also born in Philadelphia. Aaron Morris we believe was Hirams father and married to Sarah. Note here: Elizabeth Hart's Mother was Elizabeth Hart daughter of Silas Hart and Mary Daniel. Silas Hart was son of Col. Joseph Hart of great renown. These are descendants of Christopher Hart 1543-1581 & Elizabeth Lee May of England. My maiden name is PONDER and need to find the parents of my great grand father James F. PONDER born in KY 1830. I have a copy of his marriage certificate and application dated December 12, 1867 in Grant Co. KY. The county seat is in Williamstown as I was there this summer 2000. James married Zelica Foster, she born in Owen Co., KY 1844 as I found her and her parents in the 1850 census of Owen Co. KY. She was 6 years old. Her Parents were William Foster and Theodoria ?. Brothers John, George, and a sister Deliliah. As my grand father Nathan came to California and Died there before I was able to question him as to when his parents died, that is an unkown as well. In the 1870 Ky census of Grant Co. James and his family are there and he gave the information that his father was born in KY and his mother born in SC. The 1880 census in the same Grant co. KY states the same. Did his parent die in Grant Co.?? if so do any of you know as to where I should look. Do you know these PONDER's???
