I have a small nuclear family, since virtually all of my father's relatives died in the Holocaust. My mother's family was small. Three aunts are alive in England. My wife's extended family is very extended! Her father is descended from Sephardi Jews who settled in Jamaica in the 1500s, and her mother's family came from Pinsk in White Russia, after WWI. We now live in northern Israel with our two children. |
