William Charles Kendall (son of Neal Edwin Kendall and Ruth Anna Wilson) was born January 11, 1948 in New Castle, Henry County, Indiana.He married Kathryn Jeannette Ward on June 13, 1970 in Foursquare Gospel Church 3200 South 14th Street New Castle, Herny County, Indiana, daughter of Raymond Edward Ward and Helen Louise Ford.

He worked at Chrysler foe 33 years and retied.He loved bowling and was very good at it. He also worked at the Rose bowl started working there when was 18 years old and worked there off and all his life.His average was 200 or more. He took good care of his family. He was saved at Frist Bible Free Well Baptist in 1976. Rev. Tim Hackett was the Pastor at the time.
Bill served in U. S. Army from Aug. 1968--- June of 1969. He was able to get out because of his Father died with cancer, and Mother had MS and the other kids were all still in school.
Sp 4 W.C. Kendall Wins Medal in Vietnam
Specialist Four William C. Kendall, 21, son of Mr. and Mrs. Neal E. Kendall, 5 Elliott Court, received the Army Commendation Medal Aug. 14, while serving with the 4th Infantry Division near Pleilu, Vietnam.
Spec. 4Kendall earned the award for meritorious service as a radio operator in Company's 8th Infantry.

Attendants Are Named For Kendall-Ward vows
Miss. Kathryn Ward and William C. Kendall announce attendants of their wedding which will be solemnized Saturday, June 13, at 7:30 p.m. in Foursquare Gospel Church.Rev. Lindsey Flowers will officiate at the double ring ceremony.
Attending the bride-elect will be her sister, Mrs. Mark Bowling, matron of honor; Miss Susie Logan and Miss Debbie Wardof Hagerstown, cousin of the brie-elect, bridesmaids.
Carl Graham will serve as best man and groomsmen will be Bill Baker and Joe Shelly. Guests will be seated by Mike Williams and Ken Ward, Brother of the bride.
Miss Deanna Ward, sister of the bride -elect, will register guests.
Kristy Lowhorn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lowhorn, will be flower girl and Brian Phelps, son of Mr. and Mrs Ray Phelps, will be ring bearer.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs Raymond E. Ward and Mr. Mrs. Neal Kendall.
Friends and relatives are cordially invited to attend the ceremony. A reception will be given in Smith Auditorium.
Kendall-Ward Vows Repeated
Rev. Fowers Officiates at Ceremony
Baskets filled with light blue gladioli and royal blue carnations flanked the alter of Foursquare Gospel for the Wedding of Miss Kathryn Jeannette Ward and William Charles Kendall.Rev. Lindsey Flowers reformed the double ring ceremony at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 13.Family pews were designated by light blue and royal blue bows.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs Raymond E. Ward. 133 Pickett Ave. Mr. and Mrs. Neal Kendall, 5 Elliott Court, are parents of the bridegroom.
The bride's attendants were gowned in royal blue and light blue dresses, carrying out the bride's chosen color scheme.Mrs. Mark Bowling, serving her sister as matron of honor, wore royal blue satin with light blue trim and her veil was of light blue illusion.She carried a bouquet of white carnations, tipped in royal blue.
Miss Debbie Ward, cousin of the bride and Miss Susie Logan, wore dresses styled like the honor attendant's in light blue trimmed in royal blue.They Carried nosegays of white carnations tipped in blue.
Mrs. Ruth Hurst, otanist, presented a program of bridal aires.
Bridal Gown is venise lace.
The bride wore a floor length gown of satin and Venise lace.Five layer of lace of the skirt formed a chapel length train.Lace covered the bodice and formed scallops and long sleeves ending in bridal points over the hands.Her fingertip veil was secured to a headpiece of organdy and lace flowers with a crown of pearls and she carried a white lace covered Bible with roes and carnations and wore a pearl necklace which had been worn by her mother at her wedding. Sept. 11, 1946.
Kristy Lowhorn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs Charles Lowhorn, was flower girl and wore a dress styled like the matron of honor's and carried a basket filled with blue and white carnations.Brian Phelps. son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Phelps, was ring bearer.
Carl Graham was best man and groomsmen were Bill Baker and Joe Shelly. Guests were seated by Ken Ward brotherof the bride and Mike Williams.
Reception Given in Smith Building
The couple greeted approximately 150 guests at a reception in Smith Building.The room was decorated in the bride's Chosen colors.
Following a brief wedding trip through the south the newly married couple will reside at 1202 1/2 Moured St.
The new Mrs. Kendall plans to graduate next year from Chrysler High School.The bridegroom graduated from Chrysler High School in 1966 and Lincoln Technical Institute.
He served in Vietnam a year and is employed at Chrysler Corp.
We lived at 305 Bundy Ave. for over 25 years and had restored the house. After we had moved away the garagecaught fire. have the peace from the paper.
