Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
My interest in genealogy started when my parents and brother died within 6 years of each other and the urge to research further , strengthened when I became a grandmother. I realised I knew nothing of my grandparents ancestry. After a lot of hard work , I came to a standstill and rather than leaving it there I decided to start on my husband`s ancestry.Thinking it would take roughly the same amount of time researching as I spent on my side - How wrong could I be ?
I have been wrapped up in this for such a long time now I feel I must be near the end !!!!!! I wonder - will someone whet my appetite with more information ? ***************************** (I will admit to using information from the various websites as starting points in various names and dates in this data so please do not take them as concrete evidence. Gedcoms as imports - ALL gedcoms with `surnames` or x1 / x2 etc.. are from my own small data imported to my MAIN data ).
If I can help anyone in their research or you can help me with snippets of information , please feel free to e-mail me.
I thank all who have already supplied their own individual family tree data for my use to share with others.
My Daughter-in-law. (16 KB) She is the daughter I never had and couldn`t have wished for a better wife for my son.
