| I am researching the John and Elizabeth (Twytt) Irish of Banwell England family. Their son John came to MA as a child of 12, later his son also John moved to Rhode Island and from there to New York and then on to Michigan. The line is John, John, John, Samuel, John, George, William, Benjamin, Stanley, and myself. I am also researching my husbands family, the Kennamer's. Stephen Kennamer came from Harlem (Kennamerland) the Netherlands to Philadelphia moving from there to Kennamer Cove Alabama. That line is Stephen, Jacob, Hance, Levi, Jacob, John, Robert, Calvin, Calvin I know that the Twytt relationship has been questioned but after visiting Banwell and having searched into the "legend", it is the family line that I believe to be mine and until I "meet" Elizabeth face to face to question her personally she will always be my 9th great grandmother. However I am will gladly discuss this questionable Irish mystery with anyone who cares to email me. |
