I am researching the maternal side of the John Irish family.John first came to America in 1637 from Cantesbury England. He was the illegitimate son of Elizabeth Twytt. Would like to find more information of her family. She lived in Banwell, England and was a servant for John Irish. In America John lived in Duxbury, MA and the family moved to Little Compton RI, then to Madison County NY and on to Lenawee County MI and then to Ottawa County MI and to Kent County MI and beyond. Any information on the Irish, Deline,Twytt, Church,Gilbert,Little, Edge,or Savory surnames would be greatly appreciated. I am also interested in the local history of the locations mentioned. I will share any information I have with others interested in these names.
