Dennett Abner Witt, 1829-1882 (8 KB) Dennett Abner Witt, sheriff of Nelson County, Virginia during the Civil War. Remains of the Witt-Plunkett House (29 KB) Located in Nelson County, Virginia, this house was the site of an early court and jail. It was also the home of several generations of Witts. Thomas J. (Buster) Plunkett, 1888-1976 (12 KB) "Buster" Plunkett, son of David Willis and Alicey Dicey Witt Plunkett. Clarence P. Plunkett, 1885-1972 (39 KB) Clarence Plunkett, son of David Willis and Alice Dicey Witt Plunkett. Irene Mosley Plunkett, 1886-Aft. 1974 (10 KB) Irene Mosley Plunkett, daughter of David Willis and Alice Dicey Witt Plunkett. John Hiter Collins & Mattie Brooks Witt Collins (10 KB) Mattie Brooks Witt was born 1866 and died 1958. She was the daughter of Dennett A. and Elizabeth Jane McComb Witt.
