I am researching the McMillan family. My paternal grandfather was Hugh King McMillan, born in Alloa,Scotland March 1885. Married Agnes Murray 20 December 1951 in Kilmacolm. His father was John McMillan. Agnes Murray was born in Feb circa 1897.I am also researching the Hoey family. My maternal grandfather was born in Northern Ireland (Ballymena/Ahochil) area on 3/8/1900. He married Lizzie Swankie who was born in Arbroath on 6/1/1903.
