I am researching the Kerrs of Kelso - and the family connectionswith Wilson, Wright & Brotherston - all Border families originating Kelso and surrounds. On my maternal side, I am researching the Quirie, Lehndorff, Yule/Youl/Youll, Morrison and Sim, all Aberdeenshire families. On the Kerr side descended from Andrew Kerr - horse dealer married to Alison Dickson - who had a son James b 1804.He married to Margaret Wilson 1/10/1830.On the Quirie side descended from Theodor Lehndorff, wheelwright of Aberdeen married to Minna Tollens.Their son Edward Lehndorff married Sophia Quirie 10 July 1891.I have an extensive collection of data already and will willingly share any information. I would appreciate any further leads - particularly on the Aberdeenshire connection. I know that two sisters - Jeannie & Grace who were cousins to my mother (Sophia Lehndorff Quirie) were last heard of in Ontario Canada in 1912.cousins |
