As we go along in our search for our ancestors we have met many wonderful, caring and helpful people, people living in other states,those willing to give of their time to look up records in court houses and libraries for a total stranger. Without their help we would not be as far as we are today with this project. As our tree grows, we find out more and more, some good and some not so good. We have war heros, doctors, lawyers, and the likes making up our family, including Cherokee Indian relationships. It took us three years to link the North Carolina Pethel's to the Georgia Pethel's but with the help of Pethels living in Georgia and getting their great-great-ancestors names, we were able to finally tie them together. We have tried to document all information as reliable and correct, but one will always make a typo and if anyone visiting this site, sees any errors, don't hesitate to contact us. It takes a joint effort to get it right. We will welcome any additional information to our family tree. Thank you, Brady & Jim Kerr
