My hubby's side of the family that we know of is Cherokee, Irish and German on his paternal side of the family: Surnames connected to this side of the family are: Green Kessler Barnett Ketchum Murphy Bashore Coil Newhouse Louden/Lwden/London Settle Victor Tankersley Turner Hammond Again The maternal side of the family is Scots-Irish, Dutch, French, German and Cherokee. The surnames for this side of the family are: Rotan/Wroten/Wrotan Oliver Bass Smith Jones Gray High/Hock Patten/Patton Coble Davis Milligan Schaeffer My paternal line is Scottish and English The surnames for this group is: Pelton Westover My maternal line is French and German. Part of the family was from the Alsace-Lorraine area of France and Germany. When they migrated to the US they came thru New York or Maryland and then travelled to Saint Louis , Mo.
