|We are researching the Kessinger Family from Kentucky, Butler and Hardin and Hart CO, during the early 1800's.We are looking for a Calvin Kessinger that was the son of Issac Kessinger, we do not know if Issac was the son of Solomon I,II, or III.
The Woodall Family that came from Indiana and Missouri.1890's. We have a John Andrew Woodall which had a son Daniel Webster Woodall. Daniel's mother was Margaret Brown. John Woodall left when the family was very young. Daniel was raised by an aunt on his mothers side.
The Hill Family from around DeKalb Co Georgia,(1830). My great grandfather was James Henry Hill, b. 3/10/1830, De Kalb Co GA d.12/29/1913, Vamossa, OK he had 4 brothers, Clem, Johnny, Otho, and Zack and 1 sister Mary. He had 4 wives: Amelia Berry, ,Permilia ?,Matilda Chapman and Rebecca Gilbert my G.Grandmother. He had children by each wife: 1;Amelia Berry:
John T. b.1854, James Allen b.2/10/1861, Sarah E b.6/4/1863, William Berry b.1/6/1866 and Mary Maderia b.9/6/1869. Second Wife Permilia No Children. 3rd Wife Matilda Chapman: Lula Virginia b. 12/29/1872, Stella ? and Infant Son ?. 4th Wife Rebecca Gilbert b.cira 1847 in AL, died 1890-1893? Pyle TX near Direct TX. Children: Albert Henry b.4/9/1881(my grandfather), Charlie Newton b.6/28/1878, Missouri(McSaria) b.4/14/1879,Fannie b.1883, John b.1884 & Lucinda Caroline b. 8/10/1885.
We are looking for correct info on James Henry's father, we have his name as Arthur Steven or Otho Steven Hill.
The Speaks Family from Tenn.(1860)& AR, then to Direct Texas and on in to southern Oklahoma.
The Yancey Family from White County Ark,(1860) which came from MS and North Carolina.We can trace the Yancey side back to 1642.
