Notes for AUGUST FRIEDRICH KOEPP:
Born in Birkholz, Germany, August and his wife Johanna and their children Wilhelm, Karl, Herman and Franz sailed from Bremen on the Ship Rhein and arrived at New York on October 16, 1881.

Buried in Comal Cemetery, New Braunfels, Comal Co, TX. According to cemetery records, August bought his plot in 1913. I find it strange that he is buried in one cemetery and his wife Johanna is buried in the cemetery across the road, although she did die 25 years before him.

August's middle name, Friedrich, and his place of birth was obtained through the Comal County Death Register for 1903-1931.

Buried in St. Paul's Cemetery, New Braunfels, Comal Co, TX; across the road from the Comal Cemetery where her husband August F. Koepp is buried. Johanna's maiden name is unknown at this time.
